Create an additional property

An owner can add more hotels (or restaurants, in SunPOS) to an existing group without creating a new group. The new property gets its own timezone, address and licences but shares the group's database.
Before you start
- You are the owner and the group already exists.
- Choose the right app pill first: the property is created in the app currently selected (PMS, POS, Hardware, Parking or Spa).
- Have a property image ready (required). A logo is optional.
- Choose the timezone with care: it cannot be changed later.
- Check the licence: the free trial covers one property per group. Adding a second property to a group, or a second group in the app, is refused with the Licence needed dialog until you have bought a licence for the app (Free trial and data removal).

Step 2: location

How to add a property
- Select the app pill, then click Add property (or the three dots on the group card and Create New Property).
- In step 1 choose the Country, then fill the name, e-mail and phone and check the Timezone. Click Next.
- (Step 2 follows.)
- Upload the Property Image, fill the address, tick the confirmation and click Save. Result: "New Property created successfully." The window closes and the new card appears in Properties.
What happens behind the scenes
The property is added inside the existing group database for that app and registered in the central directory. The card list reloads. The new property starts with the group's default licence plan until a plan is activated.

Tips and FAQ
- Q: Does a second property need a new group? A: No, only the first one per app does.
- Q: Where do I add a restaurant? A: Select the Sun POS pill, then use Add property.
- Q: The screenshots show a sample property; was it created? A: No. The pictures of this page were taken with the create answer simulated, so the demo group still has its two properties.
- Q: I can't find the three dots. A: Only the owner sees them.
