The CRS Rate Plan Report lists the reservations made in a date range together with the rate plan name and the CRS engine (online channel) they came through. It shows which channel plans produce bookings and what became of them (confirmed, cancelled, no-show...). When the hotel has no channel connection, the plan and engine columns stay empty, but the report still works as a list of all reservations by booking date.

CRS Rate Plan Report, reservations made Oct to Oct 2026

Purpose

  • See which channel rate plans were booked in a period.
  • Check what happened to the reservations of a plan (cancelled, no-show).
  • List every reservation made on a booking date, with its status.

Who uses it

Channel and revenue managers, reservation managers and the front desk manager.

About this report on screen

Every report page has an About this report bar under its header (button Explain / Hide). It explains the report in plain words:

  • Summary: Reservations by CRS / channel rate plan.
  • What this report shows: Reservations from the central reservation system in the period with the CRS engine, the rate plan, guest, dates and status.
  • How to read it:
  • Pick one CRS rate plan or ALL.

Before you start

  • You need the privilege Reservation_Report_CRSRatePlan.
  • Rate plan and engine are filled only for reservations that arrive through a CRS / channel manager integration. The demo hotel has no such reservations, so both columns are empty.
  • The dates are the reservation dates (the day the booking was made), not the arrival dates.

Step by step

  1. Click Reports in the left menu (or press Ctrl+K and type the report name). The report library opens at #/reports.
  2. Choose the category Reservation Reports (or type in the search box) and click the card CRS Rate Plan ("Rate plans from Central Reservation System"). You can also open #/report/crs-rate-plan directly.
  3. The report opens and runs once with its default criteria, so you already see data. Under Report criteria set From Date, To Date, CRS Rate Plan as you need (in a date calendar, Working Date jumps to the current business date).
  4. Click Show to run it again with the new criteria. The line under Results tells how many rows are shown.
  5. Choose CRS Rate Plan: ALL (default), or one plan when the list has plans.
  6. Read the result as a Table or as Cards (switch at the top right). Columns shows or hides columns and lets you drag them into another order; click a column title to sort. Hide criteria / Show criteria folds the criteria away; on a tablet or phone it folds by itself after Show and leaves a one-line summary.
  7. Click Export and choose PDF, Excel or Email (PDF). The button is always in the header but stays disabled until the report has rows.

Filters

Filter Meaning Rules and default
From Date First booking date (reservation date). Default PMS date.
To Date Last booking date. Default PMS date; not before From Date.
CRS Rate Plan One plan name, or ALL. Default ALL. The list holds the distinct plan names found on the hotel's reservations; when no reservation has a plan the list is empty and the value stays ALL.

Columns

Column Meaning
Folio No Folio number of the reservation. (The reservation id column exists but is hidden.)
Guest Name Primary guest (blank if the reservation has no name).
Reservation Date The day the reservation was made.
Date In Arrival date.
Date Out Departure date.
CRS Rate Plan The plan name sent by the channel.
CRS Engine The name of the channel engine.
Status Confirmed, Unconfirmed, Cancel, No-Show or Transfer-Out. Reservations that have already checked in show their last booking status, usually Confirmed.

Totals and grouping

No grouping and no totals. The whole result is shown in one scrolling list.

How to read an example

Reservation dates 16-Oct-2026 to 19-Oct-2026, plan ALL:

Folio No Guest Reservation Date Date In Date Out CRS Rate Plan Status
161020113004459 Rahul Mehta 16-Oct-2026 16-Oct-2026 18-Oct-2026 No-Show
161020010315520 Ananya Iyer 16-Oct-2026 20-Oct-2026 22-Oct-2026 Confirmed
16102010214784 Sophie Turner 16-Oct-2026 18-Oct-2026 21-Oct-2026 Cancel
161020102658830 Sophie Turner 16-Oct-2026 18-Oct-2026 21-Oct-2026 Unconfirmed

Read it as: all 91 reservations were made between 16 and 19 October. The plan and engine cells are empty because they are all direct bookings. Sophie Turner made the same stay twice: one cancelled, one still unconfirmed. Many lines with status Cancel are test reservations created in the demo.

Common questions it answers

  • Which reservations did we take on a given day?
  • Which rate plan do online bookings use, and how many were cancelled?
  • Which reservations are still unconfirmed?

Export, print and e-mail

  • Excel downloads CRS Rate Plan Report.xlsx with all lines (91 data lines for the example). The file has no date-range line.
  • Email (PDF) shows Email sent successfully.
  • PDF: Since 19-Oct-2026 the PDF also opens on a property without an uploaded logo.

Troubleshooting

  • The CRS Rate Plan list is empty. No reservation of the hotel carries a plan; keep ALL.
  • The report lists checked-in guests too. The query does not filter by folio status; it lists every folio whose reservation date is in the range.
  • Plan and engine are empty. The reservations are direct, not from a channel.
  • I expected the arrival date to be the filter. The filter is the reservation date; use Arrival for arrival dates.
