House Keeping Room Assignment

Shares the day's rooms among the housekeepers of a housekeeping group. Housekeeping groups and their members are set up in Property Setup (Housekeeping Groups, Housekeeping Group Members).
Before you start
- At least one active housekeeping group with members.
Screen layout
| Item | Meaning |

| Group (segmented buttons) | One button per housekeeping group; the first is chosen on opening. No housekeeping groups yet. when none exist. |
| Auto Allocation (top right) | Splits the unassigned rooms evenly across the members; disabled if the group has no member. |
| Hide room filters / Show room filters | Collapses or opens the Room filter panel. |
| Room filter panel (left) | Building, Floor, and Room status check boxes (V/Ready, O/Clean, O/Dirty, V/Dirty, V/Clean, V/Maint, R/Ready, V/Booking, O/Maint, Today's CheckOut, StayOver). Your choice is remembered. |
| Rooms (middle, with the count) | The unassigned rooms as cards with building and floor and a status colour bar. Find a room searches; Pick all shown and Clear picks manage ticks ("n picked"). When every room is assigned it says Every room in the filter is assigned. Drop a room here to take it back. |
| Assigned rooms (right, "n housekeepers") | One card per housekeeper with the avatar, name, room count and their rooms. The bin icon (Clear Room) empties the card. This group has no housekeepers yet. when the group has no members. |
How to assign rooms
- Pick the group.
- Optionally filter the rooms.
- Tap the rooms to pick them, then press Assign n picked on a housekeeper; or drag a room (by its handle) from Rooms onto a housekeeper card; or click Auto Allocation.
- To remove, click the x on the room chip or drag it back to Rooms. Result: every change is saved immediately; "Assignment Saved." appears. Switching group keeps unsaved edits of the other group in memory.

Tips and FAQ
- Q: Is there a Save button? A: No; saving is automatic.
- Q: The assignment feeds what? A: The Housekeeping report and the dashboard housekeeping card.
