Integration groups or properties do not load

Troubleshooting · Updated

Symptom. On an integration page (SunParking Setup, Integrations; SunPOS Settings, PMS Integration; SunPMS Property Setup, Parking Setting or Hardware Setting) the list of groups or properties is empty, or you see "The POS group and the PMS group must belong to the same owner".

How the list is built. SunAuth lists the other app's groups and properties of every owner of the current group. An owner is an active main user of the group (the account that appears in the group's user list with the "main user" flag). A group may have several owners. A group is listed when at least one of the current group's owners is also an active user of that group in the other app. The same test is applied when the connection is made, so everything listed can be connected.

What to check.

  1. Open the group in SunAuthWeb and check that the person who owns the other app's group is also a user of this group (add the user to the group, main user).
  2. Only groups with a database for that app are listed.
  3. The card shows "Needs attention" with the reason when SunAuth refuses the token; "Connected to..." when it works.

Fixed 20-Oct-2026. Earlier only the first owner of the current group was used, so a group with two owners (for example admin and a second owner) showed an empty list for the second owner's groups and the token step answered "must belong to the same owner" although the owners matched.

Who sees what. The pickers show only the groups of the person who is logged in: they must be an active main user (owner) of the current group, and only their own groups of the other app are listed. A user who owns only one of the two groups, or who is not an owner (for example a front desk user), sees an empty list and the text "No linked groups found for your account". Ask the owner to make the connection, or to add you as a main user of both groups in SunAuth.
