Short answer

Open Restriction > Minimum Length of Stay (Min LOS) (or Maximum Length of Stay (Max LOS)), choose the Rate Type, click the arrival day in the lane of the room type and type the number of nights, or use Bulk Operation.

Steps

  1. Open Restriction > Minimum Length of Stay (Min LOS) (or Maximum Length of Stay (Max LOS)) and choose the Rate Type.
  2. Switch Paint on, or click the day to open Rules of the day.
  3. Type the number of nights for the room type and date (MIN / MAX lane) and confirm. The rule applies to stays that arrive on that date. Min below 1 is saved as 1; Max 0 means no limit.
  4. For a range click Bulk Operation (window Restriction Bulk Operation), choose dates (Select Date Range or From Date / To Date), the room type and rate types, select Min Nights / Max Nights under Rules To Update, enter the values under Rules Value and click Update (or Update & Close).

Restriction updated successfully. The Calendar warning icon on the date lists the min/max nights.

Common problems

  • The minimum night should be greater than or equal to one.
  • Please select valid MaxNight.
  • A booking shorter than the minimum is refused with Booking Control Rule... is set for date.
  • Min LOS is per rate type; a rate type's own minimum days "(n)" is separate (Rate Type setting).
  • Messages: Pricing messages.
